Advanced Carrot Planting Trick

Materials Needed:

4 cups water
1/2 cup cornstarch
Carrot seeds (preferably treated, recognizable by their blue color)
Sealable bag (ziplock)
Small garden shovel or furrow-making tool
Step-by-step instructions:
Prepare the mixture: In a saucepan, combine 4 cups water with 1/2 cup cornstarch. Heat and stir the mixture until it reaches the desired consistency. Add more water if necessary if it becomes too thick. Once the mixture has thickened, add the carrot seeds. Treated carrot seeds are recommended for optimal results.

Incubating the seed mix: Transfer the seed-infused mix to a ziplock bag. Let the bag sit for 3 to 4 days so the seeds can absorb the beneficial properties of the mix and are prepared for vigorous growth.

Preparing the planting area: Choose a location in your garden to plant the carrots. Using a small garden shovel or tool, make a shallow furrow where the seeds will be planted. Make sure the furrow is wide enough to accommodate the mix.

Planting process: After the incubation period, cut a small corner of the ziplock bag. You only need a small opening for controlled release. Gently squeeze the bag so the seed mix flows through the cut corner into the prepared furrow.

Covering and tending: Once the mix is spread in the furrow, gently cover it with soil. Make sure the seeds are well covered but not buried too deeply.

Monitor and water: Keep the planted area consistently moist. Water the seeds regularly, making sure the soil stays moist but not soggy.
