Delicious cottage cheese can be made at home from regular store-bought milk. Add heavy cream and you’re almost done. Such cottage cheese is guaranteed to be crumbly and not at all sour—it can’t be distinguished from a farm product.
Ingredients:
Pasteurized milk with fat content 3.2% – 3 liters
Cream 35% – 200 g
Lemon juice – 4 tbsp. spoons
Pour milk and cream into a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring a couple of times to prevent the milk from burning. Boil the milk for 5 minutes, pour lemon juice into it and continue cooking, stirring.
