A simple homemade way to refresh old cutlery with aluminum foil works wonders. To prevent dirty dishes from flooding the sink, it is recommended to wash them immediately after eating.
Dishwasher owners do not have to worry about this, but people who wash by hand, for various reasons, have to face the challenge of renovating old, obviously damaged cutlery.
To deal with this common problem, an ingenious method has been developed that exploits the transformative properties of aluminum foil. To start, boil water in a pot and add a teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate and half a teaspoon of sugar.
Once the liquid is boiling, divide the aluminum foil into four equal parts, cutting it in half. Toss the metal balls into the boiling kettle once you’ve formed each serving into a ball.
