Bay leaves
Let’s start with bay leaves, which can neutralize bad odors and bring a fresh scent to the home. You must first dry a handful of leaves in the open air for several days by placing them on a baking sheet. To speed up this process, you can also dry them in the oven by placing them on a baking tray covered with baking paper and baking them at 180°C for a few minutes, until their color becomes lighter and they are crispy. Simply place them on a saucer in areas of the house where bad odors are most common.
