Christmas Crack

Instructions:

  1. In a very large bowl, mix together the cereals and pretzels.
  2. In a heavy-bottomed pot, combine the butter, sugar, and corn syrup.
  3. Heat the mixture until it reaches the soft ball stage (234°F) on a candy thermometer.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the cereal and pretzels, mixing to coat evenly.
  5. Immediately spread the mixture onto foil or baking sheets that have been sprayed with cooking spray.
  6. Allow to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

Note: You can add peanuts, mini marshmallows, or almonds if desired, but it’s pretty perfect as is!

Tip: Pictures may show a double batch.
