The sole drawback of zippers, despite their extreme practicality and usefulness—they are regarded as a true revolution in the apparel industry—is that they are prone to breaking quickly and are almost hard to repair.

If it’s a zipper on a pair of jeans, a recently bought jacket, or a bag, this is particularly annoying. It’s usually a good idea to have a quick fix handy in these situations.

Although a damaged or jammed zipper may be quite frustrating, there are a few ways to fix it; we list the best ones below.
1. A cursor that has detached from its chain

While you use a screwdriver to make the necessary incisions on the slider to allow the chain to pass through, hold the chain in place using pliers. The chain teeth should be able to pass through the aperture.
