Roll the cake. Don’t worry if you get your hands a little dirty – this is actually necessary to keep the cherries spread evenly across the cake.
Place the roll in the serving dish.
Using the piping bag, draw horizontal lines of whipped cream.
Top it all off with chocolate shavings. If you don’t have one, no problem! You can take a few squares of dark chocolate and grate them using a peeler.
Store in a cool place until ready to serve.
