You may have noticed that the water pressure coming out of the shower head is always lower, perhaps attributing the phenomenon to a problem that affects the entire house or condominium.
In fact, most of the time this problem is caused by the accumulation of limescale between the holes of the shower head . Some of these holes even end up completely clogged, preventing the water from flowing out.
Luckily, it is possible to solve this problem with some DIY tricks that, in addition to cleaning the surface of the shower head , allow us to unclog the holes and return to having optimal water pressure.
To clean a fixed shower head :
- Fill a plastic bag halfway with vinegar.
- Place the shower head in the plastic bag and secure it with a twist tie.
- Leave the shower head to soak overnight.
