I use ammonia and the grayed things are snow-white again. I tell you how to effectively whiten things

I pour hot water into a small basin or bucket. I add 2-3 tbsp there. ammonia and soak white things in the resulting solution. If the fabric has turned very yellow, I strengthen the solution by adding 3 tbsp. hydrogen peroxide and 1 tsp. salt.

Cover the basin with a bag or regular cling film so that the smell of ammonia does not spread throughout the rest of the room.

I leave the socks soaked for 2-3 hours. After the specified time has passed, I rinse them thoroughly under running warm water. Next I wash it in a washing machine at 60°C. There is no need to add any special products when washing. All you need is powder and fabric softener.

Ammonia is perfectly rinsed out of fabric, and after washing, things don’t smell of it at all

Ammonia works and bleaches fabric well.
