Lemon in the refrigerator: why it has no place

 

Store lemons in the dark in a cool room. A windowless cellar or storeroom is well suited for this. Make sure the lemons are not too close to each other. This prevents mold from forming. If you also place newspaper under the citrus fruits, it absorbs moisture and also prevents the formation of mold.

In addition to the whole lemon, you can also save just the lemon juice. This is done either by storing it in a container in the refrigerator or by freezing it.

You can of course also use lemon and use it, for example, to descale the kettle or wash laundry
