Natural fertilizer to encourage leafier, healthier plants

3. Watering with Epsom salt: Using an Epsom salt solution to water the plants is an additional choice. As with irrigation water, spread the solution around the base of the plants. Take care not to overapply the solution in order to prevent soil salinization.
Remember that various types of plants may have varying nutritional needs and that not all plants react to fertilizers in the same manner. Certain plants, including tomatoes, peppers, and roses, often gain from the addition of magnesium in the form of Epsom salts. Other plants, on the other hand, may not need it or could even be sensitive to excessive salt concentrations.

As always, before adding any fertilizer in large amounts, it’s best to test a small area of plants and see how they react. To ensure healthy development, don’t forget to adhere to the precise fertilization guidelines recommended for each variety of plant and take into account other elements like the quality of the soil and exposure to light and water.
