Necessary materials and tools
- Empty water bottle
- Plastic caps
- Cutter
- Flanges
- Drill or hot nail
- Lighter (if you use hot nail)
Procedure
- Clean and dry the water bottle completely.
- Cut a square in the top of the bottle using the cutter. This square should be large enough to allow access to the objects you are going to store.
- Prepare the lids : Take the plastic lids and make a hole in the center of each one. You can use a drill to make the holes precisely or heat a nail with a lighter and drill carefully.
- Insert the zip ties : Thread a zip tie through the hole in each lid so that there is a loop at the top. This loop will work as a hook to hang the bottles.
- Attach the caps : Screw the caps back onto the bottles, making sure the ties are securely attached and ready to hang.
- Organize your things : Use the bottles with their new lids with hooks to hang in your workshop, garage or DIY area. You can store screws, dowels, nails and other small items, keeping them organized and within reach.
