Soda is an excellent help for cleaning the house as a substitute for a number of detergents that you usually buy at the supermarket. However, these have a very large impact on the environment so it is best to avoid them. The solution is soda, specifically washing soda, also called Solvay soda.
However, it should not be confused with caustic soda, which is something else and is used to make soap at home.
