You need very little time to make this fabric softener. The first thing you need to do is get a bar of soap, the kind generally used for hand washing (Marseille soap is fine too).
Using a grater, start grating your soap and pour it into a container that you cover with a liter of boiling water. Mix everything until you get a homogeneous mixture and that is until the soap is completely dissolved.
At this point, let your mixture sit for at least 4 hours. After this time, you will be surprised to see how the liquid solution has hardened to a jelly-like consistency.
