Natural fertilizer to encourage leafier, healthier plants

Magnesium sulfate, another name for epsom salt, is a naturally occurring fertilizer for plants. It has sulfur and magnesium, two vital elements that help in plant growth and development.

To use Epsom salt as a fertilizer, follow these steps:
1. Diluting

In order to prevent an excessive concentration, dilute the Epsom salt with water. One gallon (approximately 3.8 liters) of water may be mixed with one spoonful of Epsom salt. You may adjust the proportions if you just need a little quantity.

2. Foliar application: Apply the diluted solution straight onto the plant leaves. Make careful to cover both the top and bottom of the leaves by lightly misting them with the solution filled spray bottle.
