Can opened lemons be refrigerated?
It is different for opened lemons. You can store them in the refrigerator for one to two days. Note the following:
Place the lemon cut side down on a small plate so it doesn’t dry out.
Ideally, place the fruit in the upper compartment of the refrigerator, as the temperature is lower there.
Of course, this will also affect the aroma, but it is the lesser evil, because outside the refrigerator, the opened lemon would spoil far too quickly.
