Ingredients:
1 pound (450g) spaghetti
1 pound (450g) ground beef or turkey
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
1 can (15 ounces) crushed tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup (120ml) butter, melted
1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup (60ml) sour cream
2 cups (200g) shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup (100g) shredded Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey with chopped onions and minced garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
Add the marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
In a separate bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and melted butter until smooth.
